We support you with a base salary during your first months while you acquire clients and increase your sales. As you reach your performance goals, you'll have the opportunity to earn more and participate in the future growth of our company through our stock equity program. Our employee financial advisor compensation and retirement benefits include:

  • Hourly wages and commissions plus overtime pay in the first year
  • Base salary and commissions in years two and beyond
  • Commissions of 36% to 55% depending on production
  • Restricted stock awards for qualifying advisors
  • The opportunity to earn compensation for coaching other employee financial advisors
  • The opportunity to earn milestone bonuses up to $19,000 during the first two years
  • Optional payroll deductions to 401(k) plan after 60 days
  • Company matching contributions for participants in the 401(k) plan after 60 days
  • Employee referral program incentives

Advisor levels program

It's a tiered, performance-based program that provides support and incentives to advisors who increase their productivity in the first years of their career. As your practice matures, you may have the opportunity to transition your clients to the Ameriprise Financial Group business model. This option provides you with the opportunity to increase your financial rewards and achieve higher payouts.
